Most of us are dreading when the first snowflake falls, but exactly how much snow will we see this winter? NJ.com took a look at five weather forecasters to see what kind of weather may be in store for this winter. Here's what some of them are saying:
AccuWeather is predicting a mild start to the season but snow and "a few big snowstorms" will come during the later months like January and February.
The National Weather Services' Climate Prediction Center says we will have more of a warm and wet winter. They're predicting a 33 to 40 percent chance of warmer than normal temperatures and a 33 to 40 percent chance of above-normal precipitation.
According to NY NJ PA Weather, there will be "a high frequency of nor’easters this winter” and is predicting 50 to 80 inches of snow for Northwest New Jersey.
