Walk to the kitchen of Ani Ramen in Jersey City, make a right through currently unmarked glass doors and you'll find an the Garden State's first "ice cream speakeasy." You can purchase the alcohol-infused ice cream, provided you're over 21 and have your ID with you.
Luigi Beltran, owner of Luigi's Ice Cream, teamed up with the owner of Ani Ramen to open the hidden ice cream counter. Beltran said that unlike other alcohol-infused ice creams, his doesn't burn off the alcohol during production so it's stronger.
According to NJ.com, the menu includes Hennessy and pineapple ice cream, Patron XO Cafe and chocolate chip ice cream, and Godiva Dark Chocolate Liqueur and fudge brownie ice cream.
