A business check of Econo-Lodge led to the arrest of a Sussex man after officers found a vehicle with stolen license plates on it. The plates were originally from a vehicle that had been stolen out of Haledon, NJ.
The Andover Police Officers contacted the manager of the motel to locate the vehicle owner, Michael P. Goodrich. The 28-year-old allegedly told them "he had just purchased the vehicle and was in possession of the license plates."
Goodrich was charged with receiving stolen property and released pending a court appearance.
