That's one hell of an excuse. A West Milford man blamed his DWI on the New York Jets' loss against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
Christopher J. Greyshock was driving on Route 23 North about an hour after the football game when he rear-ended a vehicle. When officers arrived Greyshock was lying in the grass and after he failed field sobriety tests, he allegedly told the police officers, "I drank too much because the Jets suck!"
Officers reportedly found a bottle of whiskey, the remains of a marijuana joint, rolling papers, and a bag of marijuana in the 57-year-old's car. He's now facing charges that include driving while intoxicated, assault by auto, reckless driving, and drug possession.
