Keep your snow shovels handy ladies and gentlemen. The National Weather Service increased the amount of snow expected to fall in Sussex County. Expect 5 to 8 inches total as the snow continues to fall into tonight and one tenth of an inch of ice accumulation.

The Winter Storm Warning covers Morris, Warren and Sussex counties in addition to Northampton County in Pennsylvania.

Exercise extreme caution when driving as snow and freezing rain can create hazardous conditions and plan for your Friday morning commute to be impacted.

Many schools called for early dismissals today and businesses cancelled evening activities. There's a good chance schools will have delayed openings tomorrow so be sure to stay up-to-date on closings, cancellations and delays on our website.
