A woman is in serious condition after rear-ending a tractor-trailer on Route 287 south in Mahwah. The crash occurred around 6:30am this morning, near exit 65 and caused 15 to 20 minute delays.
According to the Cresskill Daily Voice, first responders believe the 20-year-old fell asleep while driving her Nissan Sentra. She was airlifted to Hackensack University Medical Center.
Judging by the photos of her vehicle, she's lucky to be alive.
