The New Jersey State Police have identified and questioned a man that allegedly offered a 9-year-old Andover Borough student a ride home. The incident occurred on Monday, November 12 after the child got off his school bus.

State Police Sgt. Lawrence Peele acknowledged that an adult male was brought in for questioning on Wednesday, November 14, but said that no charges had been filed and the investigation is still ongoing. The man hasn't been named but was described as being in his 20s or 30s with brownish, red hair and a full bushy beard.

The Andover incident was the second reported luring incident in Sussex County this month. On November 6 a Pope John Middle School student reportedly "avoided a near abduction" after a gray Toyota Corolla with tinted windows passed her house, then backed up and blocked the driveway while the girl was waiting for the school bus.
