A Byram resident was killed in Newark and after being struck by a hit-and-run driver. Naomi Segura, a student at New Jersey Institute of Technology, was reportedly crossing a street near the edge of campus on Tuesday night when she was hit.
Another driver called for help and the 25-year-old was rushed to University hospital. She pronounced dead a few hours after the incident.
