State Trooper Veers Off Road Near Sussex Middle School

A New Jersey State Trooper veered off the road in a patrol SUV near Sussex Middle School on Friday, November 23. The male trooper's name has not been released but he struck a Century Link pole and two signs, reportedly causing damage to the car's bumper, hood, and tire. 

New Jersey State Police Trooper Alejandro Goez told the New Jersey Herald that the SUV was traveling north when it went toward the left off the road, causing the accident.

The unidentified trooper was reportedly taken to Newton Medical Center for evaluation but reportedly didn't suffer any injuries.
