According to the U.S. Census Bureau, New Jersey leads the nation in young adults that live with their parents with 47 percent of residents between the ages of 18 to 34 years living with their mom and/or dad.

In fact Sussex County, along with Hunterdon, Monmouth, Passaic, and Somerset, have the highest concentrations of young adults living at home along. But, none of this should come as a surprise given the high cost of housing and increasing student debt.

Connecticut and Rhode Island landed second and third on the list while North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska are on the other end of the spectrum.
