Vernon Police are seeking the public's assistance after a trailer and hot tub were stolen from a local store last week. A truck pulled into Lakeland Pools and Spas around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, December 4 and reportedly hitched a small tilting trailer, used to move hot tubs, to the truck. It's unknown if the stolen hot tub was already on the tilting trailer.

The suspect is believed to have been driving a "Ford F-350 with dual wheels on the rear axle with two-tone paint."

Anyone who may have seen or captured the thief or truck on surveillance camera is asked to contact the Vernon Township Police Detective Bureau at 973-764-6155
