Sussex County filed a lawsuit against three companies over a roof they replaced four years ago on the Cochran House in Newton. The three companies named in the suit are Integrity Roofing, Inc., SR Products and WB Contracting Corp. and the suit alleges fraud, negligence and "unjust enrichment."
According to the New Jersey Herald, the roof replacement was connected to several cases of illness and workmen compensation claims by county employees that work in the building.
The suit accuses SR Products of being misleading about odors and materials and incorrectly designing the replacement. It also alleges that Integrity Roofing secretly hired WB Contracting Corp. to do the construction work.
