The Most Anticipated NJ Restaurant Openings of 2019

A new year brings a lot to look forward to, including new restaurants. Here are a few of's most anticipated restaurant openings of 2019. 

Faubourg, Montclair - Two Frenchmen are turning a retail space on Bloomfield Avenue into modern French brasserie with a cocktail lounge, private dining rooms and an outdoor patio. Faubourg is expected to open in early 2019.

Fables, Oak Ridge - Located next to Fairy Tale Forest, this restaurant is expected to open in the spring. Patrons can look forward to New American cuisine from Chef Christine Nunn, along with classic ice creams and an organic juice bar.

Luna Stella, Maplewood - This family-oriented, casual, Italian restaurant will offer vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free options. Chef Humberto Campos told that everything will be made from scratch and they will offer wine and liquor. It's unsure when in 2019 Luna Stella will open. 

Eons, Montvale - George Georgiades plans to open Eons in January and serve up "quality quick" Greek food. It will reportedly operate similar to Chipotle, you get in line choose a base, a protein, and sides.
