A judge will be deciding whether or not Lake Mohawk Country Club can charge non-members to park in their North Shore Road parking lot. It all started in 2016 when the club submitted an application to the Zoning Board with the intention of making repairs and renovations to the parking lot.
When the club found out that the renovations were going to cost a lot, the trustees decided they wanted to charge non-members to help cover the cost. The Planning Board rejected the club's plan which led them to challenge the decision, arguing there was no basis for the rejection.
The judge is expected to make a decision on the matter within two weeks.
