A Sussex County grand jury will decide whether or not there's enough evidence to indict a man accused of attacking a bride on her wedding day at a Hardyston hotel. In September Carlos Mejia, of New York City, was staying at Crystal Springs Resort for something related to work.

He reportedly walked up to the bride and her bridal party in the hallway of the hotel and asked for a cigarette. They all started arguing and after Mejia went into his room the bride and bridal party knocked on the door and yelled at him. That's when Mejia allegedly walked out of the room, started swinging the sword at the women, and threatened to kill the bride.

The 43-year-old then cut her arm with the sword causing a non-life-threatening injury. He attempted to leave but guests were able to disarm him. Mejia was arrested and is facing several charges, including aggravated assault and terroristic threats.
