The TD Bank in Franklin was robbed this morning and now Borough Police are seeking a suspect who obtained an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene.
Police cars were parked outside the bank for several hours and a sign was posted on the front door that said the bank was closed "due to an emergency." It reopened shortly after noon.
Sussex County First Assistant Prosecutor Gregory Mueller did not confirm or deny if it was an armed robbery and told the New Jersey Herald that the incident is under investigation.
