A 32-year-old Vernon man has been sentenced to five to 15 years in prison for allegedly causing the deaths of two women. According to the New Jersey Herald, Christopher Perrella was under the influence on November 4, 2017 when he lost control of his convertible in Warwick, NY. The car reportedly rolled over before it slammed into a vacant house.
Both rear-seat passengers, Emily Carwile and Jessica Dussault, were reportedly ejected from the car and killed. Perrella was seriously injured in the crash and the front-seat passenger, Joseph Giordano, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Perrella reportedly pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicular homicide in December.
