NJ State Police Seize $30,000 Worth of Heroin from PA Man

New Jersey State Police seized $30,000 worth of heroin from a Pennsylvania man after he was stopped for a traffic violation in Allamuchy. According to the New Jersey Herald , Javier Cuevas was driving on Interstate 80 westbound on the night of January 28 when a state trooper pulled him over.

The officer reportedly arrested Cuevas for being under the influence and then found one pound of heroin and cannabis wax in the car.

The 41-year-old was charged with the following:

  • Possession of heroin
  • Possession of heroin with intent to distribute
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia,
  • Criminal under the influence
  • Driving while intoxicated
