Man Arrested after Detonating Homemade Bomb Near Co-worker's House in Byram

A Landing man was arrested after detonating a homemade bomb in Byram. According to the New Jersey Herald , Christopher Faschan drove to a co-worker's house on February 1, made threatening statements, and detonated a bomb near the house.

The 31-year-old reportedly got into an argument with the co-worker recently. He is facing charges that include second-degree aggravated assault, attempting to cause serious bodily injury, third-degree terroristic threats and third-degree possession of an explosive device.

The blast was felt by several Lake Lackawanna residents. Luckily no one was injured.
