The second annual Feedfest at Waterloo Village helped restock local food pantries on Sunday, February 10. According to the New Jersey Herald , 931 pounds of food and $600 in cash were donated.
Waterloo United Methodist Church Pastor Tim Nicinski told the newspaper:
"We recognize how generous people are all year and especially around the holidays, but as everyone gets busy and life gets in the way, those food banks that swell during the holidays start to slowly dip into their reserves, so we decided to provide them with some additional food to sustain them during the offseason."
