Hamburg Man Arrested, Allegedly Threatened Franklin Officers

A Hamburg man was arrested on Thursday, February 21, after allegedly engaging in fighting, threatening, and violent behavior at Koz's Korner. According to the New Jersey Herald, Thomas Lozier caused a public nuisance inside and outside of the local bar and when officers tried to intervene, Lozier became aggressive and threatened them with physical harm and death.

Officers David Schneider and David MacQuesten tried to arrest Lozier but he reportedly became combative and tried to avoid being arrested.

The 52-year-old was eventually detained and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
