A Morris Plains man has been arrested after allegedly threatening to kill two Wallkill Valley officials. According to the New Jersey Herald, Emmet S. Weinman left an explicit voicemail for Wallkill Valley Athletic Director Daryl Jones on Tuesday night in which he threatened both Jones and Superintendent David Carr.

The voicemail reportedly references an alleged incident at the February 19 Wallkill Valley basketball game against Lenape Valley. Earlier this month the family of a Lenape Valley basketball player said they take legal action against WVRHS after their African-American son, Nasir, was allegedly the subject of racial slurs from the crowd.

Weinman allegedly accuses Jones and Carr, who were both present at the February 19 game, of "having the audacity to put racists kids on your basketball program" and threatened to "whip the (expletive) crap out of both of you." According to the New Jersey Herald, he also stated that he is "white" and "pretty powerful" and he would "beat" them "the (expletive) up" if "it" ever happened again.

The 19-year-old has been charged with two counts of third-degree terroristic threats.
