The Sussex-Wantage Board of Education is expected to vote tomorrow, February 27, on updating their policy on transgender students. According to the New Jersey Herald, the new policy will codify guidelines given by the state Department of Education last year.

The updated policy is reportedly expected to require that transgender students be addressed at school and in school documentation by their chosen name and pronoun regardless of whether they've legally changed their name or their parent has given consent.
