When Kacey Musgraves' album "Golden Hour" won a Grammy Award earlier this month a Sparta resident took to the stage with her to celebrate the win. Steve Fallone, a 15-year Sparta resident, was one of the mastering engineers for the Album of the Year.

According to the Sparta Independent, this isn't the first time Fallone has worked on a Grammy-nominated or Grammy-winning album but it's his second nomination as a mastering engineer and first Grammy win.

“Just this year alone, Greg [Calbi] and I worked on 18 Grammy-nominated album projects in various categories. Although, the mastering engineer or producer only receives a nomination in certain categories... such as Album of The Year, Record of The Year, best engineered recording...” he told the Sparta Independent.
