An Atlantic Mobile Health ambulance burst into flames on Monday morning after sliding off the road and hitting a utility pole in Andover Borough. According to the New Jersey Herald, two uninjured ambulance team members able to quickly escape and there were no patients in the ambulance during the accident.
The accident occurred after 1 a.m. on Route 206 during the snowstorm. When state police arrived they reportedly found that a sign, utility pole, and live wires had been knocked down. The Andover Borough Volunteer Fire Department and two Lakeland Emergency Squad ambulances responded to the accident.
