Lafayette Man Charged with DWI After Allegedly Cutting Through Parking Lot

A Lafayette man was charged with driving while intoxicated after he allegedly cut through a parking lot to avoid a traffic light on February 27. According to the New Jersey Herald, Kurt Rosner was at a traffic light waiting to make a right-hand turn when he backed away from the intersection, entered the Village Green Shopping Center, and cut through the parking lot.

A Mount Olive Police Officer reportedly stopped Rosner near Sand Shore Road and while speaking to him, detected the smell of alcohol.

The 43-year-old is facing charges that include driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to breath testing, reckless driving, and operation of a vehicle on private or public property to avoid a traffic signal.
