Another Skier Dies at Hunter Mountain, Third This Year

A New Jersey man died after a skiing accident at Hunter Mountain over the weekend. According to Daily Freeman, Robert Vrablik passed away after losing control and falling on his face and chest on the Twilight Trail.

The accident occurred around 3 p.m. on Saturday. The 22-year-old was reportedly responsive while being taken to Albany Medical Center but died later that day. The Albany County Coroner’s Office said the preliminary cause of death was cardiac contusion.

This is the resort's third fatality in less than two months and the second to occur on Twilight Trail.
