A Lafayette man was killed on Sunday, March 10 after a tree he was cutting fell on him. According to the New Jersey Herald, Stephen Race was using a chainsaw to cut through a tree on his Beaver Run Road property when it fell and hit him.
The 64-year-old was reportedly found by a neighbor at 7:35 p.m. and pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities told the New Jersey Herald that they believe Race was alone when the incident occurred and his death was accidental/not considered suspicious.
