The Stanhope Fire Department had an unusual call on Saturday morning after a family's cat got stuck between the floors of their home. According to the New Jersey Herald, the family put the cat in an upstairs bedroom because their daughter was having a sleepover and the cat managed to squeeze through a hole in the drywall of a closet.
The family reportedly tried to lure the cat out of the hole but it got stuck. Firefighters responded to the home on Stonegate Lane and used a Sawzall to cut a bigger hole in the floor. However, the cat still wouldn't come out so the firefighters left and let the homeowners coax the animal out.
