A $3.7 million year-long bridge repair project is underway in Blairstown. According to the New Jersey Herald, the deck and superstructure of the Route 94 bridge are being replaced and drivers can expect one-way traffic while the repairs are being made.
Work is reportedly being done on the south side of the bridge now and during the summer construction will begin on the north side. Trucks 10 feet or wider are unable to use the bridge during construction and must detour around Blairstown by leaving I-80 at Exit 25 and driving on Route 206 to Newton.
