Warwick Police Arrest 3 People After Finding 285 Envelopes of Heroin in Car

Warwick Police arrested three people on Wednesday, March 13 after finding them in possession of 285 envelopes of heroin and several hypodermic instruments. According to the Warwick Advertiser, John McKinney, Niki Capaci, and Aryana Davila were pulled over by an officer because their car matched the description of a disorderly persons report.

The three Wurtsboro residents were reportedly returning from Paterson, NJ and the heroin was discovered during a search of the vehicle. Lt. Thomas E. Maslanka told the Warwick Advertiser that the heroin was purchased for $300 in Paterson and would sell for about $3,000 in Warwick.

In addition to a vehicle and traffic violation, McKinney was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal facilitation. Capaci and Davila were both charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.
