A Stillwater restaurant has temporarily closed its doors following a kitchen fire that broke out on Saturday night. According to the New Jersey Herald, the 30 customers and employees inside Hyde-Away Restaurant and Tap Room were able to exit the restaurant without injury.

Co-owner David Hoogerheyde told the New Jersey Herald they will "have it up and running as fast as we can" but first must wait for the insurance company and building inspector to determine the next step.

First responders on the scene included the Stillwater, Fredon, Hampton, Andover Township, Byram, Allamuchy, Hope and Newton fire departments. The Sussex County Fire Marshal's Office, New Jersey State Police, Stillwater and Lakeland EMS squads, and New Jersey Forest Fire Service also assisted.
