15-month-old Drowned to Death in Hopatcong

A toddler drowned to death in Hopatcong on Saturday afternoon. According to the New Jersey Herald, police responded to a call just after 4pm and when they arrived they began CPR. They also reportedly used an automated external defibrillator in the ambulance on the way to the hospital with the Hopatcong Ambulance Squad.

Lt. Meghan McCluskey told the newspaper that 15-month-old Devon Chase-Williams' death is under investigation but appears to be accidental.
