Green Twp. Man that Threatened to Kill 2 People Accepts Plea Deal

A Green Township man that threatened to kill two people while intoxicated has accepted a plea deal for probation. According to the New Jersey Herald, Peter Trethewy admitted to threatening his sister and brother-in-law with a .177 caliber airsoft gun after getting in a fist fight.

During the incident, Trethewy allegedly chased his sister out to her car and punched the driver's side window. The 25-year-old was later arrested and during a search of the home officers reportedly found uncovered metal bullets for the BB gun, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Trethewy was facing 11 charges but as part of a plea deal, 9 charges were dismissed after he pled guilty to second-degree possession of a firearm and third-degree terroristic threats.
