Stanhope Man One of 16 People Arrested in Child Predator Bust

A Stanhope man was allegedly one of 16 people arrested earlier this month in an undercover operation targeting people that used social media to lure young kids. According to the New Jersey Herald, Larry Noel Jr. is facing charges that include second-degree luring and second-degree attempted sexual assault on a minor.

A police officer, a high school teacher, and a minister were reportedly among those arrested.

The multi-agency operation was led by the Division of Criminal Justice, Bergen County Prosecutor's Office and New Jersey Regional Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
