Utility Pole Lands on School Bus after being Struck by Car in Fredon

A utility pole was struck by a car and landed on a school bus in Fredon yesterday afternoon, May 1. According to the New Jersey Herald, a Kia Sorrento crashed into the pole causing it to come loose from the ground.

The bus was reportedly traveling east on Swartswood Road when the pole fell on it, cracking the front windshield and damaging other windows.

Luckily, both drivers and the two children on the school bus were uninjured. Responders at the scene of the accident included State Police, Stillwater EMS and Fredon Fire and EMS.
