A Lake Hopatcong woman was arrested on drug related charges after swerving while driving. According to the New Jersey Herald, Hillary McMahon was looking at her cell phone while driving her Honda CRV on Route 15.
The Sparta police officer who pulled her over observed her open cell phone on her lap and fresh needle marks on her arm. A search of her car reportedly led to the discovery of 13 wax folds of heroin, drug paraphernalia, four hypodermic needles, 10 glass crack stems and suspected cocaine.
The 32-year-old had warrants out in six jurisdictions and remains in the Sussex County Jail pending a court appearance.
