A man was injured Wednesday morning after his car crashed through a guardrail and rolled down a 30-foot embankment at the Newton Home Depot. According to the New Jersey Herald, Samuel Snover of Port Jervis, NY sustained a laceration to his forehead and other abrasions.
The 32-year-old was reportedly taken to Newton Medical Center and Newton Police Sgt. Michael Monaco said his injuries are not considered serious.
First responders on the scene included Newton Police, the Newton Fire Department, the Newton First Aid Squad and the Sussex County Sheriff's Department. The car was removed from the embankment by Hampton Automotive and the accident is currently under investigation.
