Police: Drunk Man Injures Four People at Newton Liquor Store

Four people were injured at a Newton liquor store on Saturday after a drunk 49-year-old allegedly assaulted them. According to the Daily Voice, Newton police responded to Spring Liquors around 5 p.m. for a reported fight.

Three women and a man told officers that they were physically assaulted by Vincent Scardino. The Andover resident allegedly yelled derogatory names at the women and made inappropriate statements toward them.

Some of the victims were treated at the scene by Newton First Aid Squad and Scardino was arrested and served two disorderly persons offenses.
