A Vernon man and former West Milford High School gym teacher that allegedly asked a 17-year-old student to send him sexual videos in exchange for money has had his teaching license revoked. According to the New Jersey Herald, The NJ Department of Education's State Board of Examiners revoked Christoper Shenise's certificates and certificates of eligibility at their May meeting.
The 32-year-old was suspended with pay from West Milford High School on November 20, 2018 and arrested on February 8th after a three-month investigation by the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office. According to police, the investigation started with information that was received from a faculty member and forwarded to school administration.
In March, Shenise was admitted to the pre-trial intervention program and he pleaded guilty to second-degree endangering the welfare of a child. Once he completes the program the charges against him will be dismissed.
