Algal Bloom Spotted at Third NJ Lake

Algal bloom led to the indefinite closure of another New Jersey lake this week. According to NJ.com, Rosedale Lake at Mercer Meadows Park in Pennington was closed to swimming, boating and fishing on Tuesday.

Spruce Run in Clinton Township and Lake Hopatcong are both currently closed to swimming because of algal blooms and it's unknown when the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection will lift the swimming advisories.

Algal bloom can vomiting and other health problems.
