Newton Driver Issued Summons After Causing Three-car Crash on Sparta Avenue

A Newton driver that caused a three-car crash on Sparta Avenue on Wednesday has been issued a summons by the Newton Police Department. According to the New Jersey Herald, Mackenzie Kratzsch, failed to stop at a red light and collided with a Dodge Ram causing it to spin, overturn, and strike another vehicle.

Newton Fire Department had to work to free a passenger that was trapped in the Dodge Ram. Luckily no one was seriously injured and everyone involved reportedly refused medical attention at the scene.

The 23-year-old was issued a summons for failure to observe a traffic signal.
