1 Dead, 3 Injured after Tow Truck Driver Hits Car Head-on in Lafayette

One person was killed and three were injured after a head-on collision in Lafayette on Monday night. According to the Daily Voice, 29-year-old Joseph Crilley was driving a tow truck on Route 94 around 10:40 p.m. when he crossed over the center line and hit a Honda Civic.

New Jersey State Police Trooper Alejandro Goez told the Daily Voice that the 43-year-old driver of the Honda, James Ziniewicz of Newton, was pronounced dead at the scene.

One of the passengers in the Honda was reportedly airlifted to Morristown Medical Center and the other was taken by ambulance. Crilley, a Newton resident, was taken to Newton Medical Center.

The accident is currently under investigation.
