Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino to Get Out of Prison Thursday

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, one of the stars of MTV's "Jersey Shore", is set to be released from federal prison on Thursday, September 12. According to NJ.com, the reality star will re-enter society after eight months behind bars in Otisville, New York.

In January 2018 the 38-year-old pleaded guilty to one count of tax evasion. He was sentenced in October 2018 and reported to prison in January.

Sorrentino's brother Marc is currently serving a two year federal prison sentence for aiding in the preparation of false tax returns. He is set to be released from prison in Fairton, Cumberland County in September of 2020.
