New Jersey reported over 3,000 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, April 7th bringing the statewide total to at least 44,416 with 1,232 deaths. According to NJ.com, there have been 50,558 negative tests for COVID-19 in New Jersey so far.
As of 6pm on Monday, April 6th there are 301 cases in Sussex County and 11 deaths.
Right now only essential businesses are allowed to operate in New Jersey and a statewide curfew is in effect. According to NJ.com, the list of essential businesses that can still operate includes: grocery stores, liquor stores, pharmacies, home improvement, restaurants that offer takeout, medical facilities and more.
