A Vernon woman that allegedly fled police has been ordered to undergo a psych evaluation. According to the New Jersey Herald, Emily Vetuschi was arrested on September 23rd after police responded to reports of an erratic driver in Franklin Borough.
The 33-year-old was reportedly driving northbound in the southbound lane while throwing debris out of her car window. Vetuschi allegedly failed to stop for police several times and only stopped the car once she was in front of her house in Vernon.
During a virtual court hearing, Vetuschi exhibited "worrying behavior" which prompted Assistant Prosecutor Sahil Kabse to ask the judge for a mental competency evaluation.
