Even though I have kids sometimes kids bother me. That being said it's not for the reasons you might think. Some parents let their kids get away with too much these days. I like kids but I don't think parents or other adults should always have to bend over backwards to please them.
New research from the group Airfare Watch Dog shows airline passengers are more concerned about sitting near annoying kids that being new some one with body odor or someone who is coughing. More than half of all airline passengers surveyed said parents traveling with kids under 10 should have a separate section on the plane.
It's very tough flying with kids. They have more energy than grow ups and have to move around more. It's tough for mom and dad to always keep them calm and occupied.
I love the idea of a separate place for families on planes. It could even be a selling point. Especially if the airlines get creative with it. Like giving families a little more room and some kid friendly amenities.
Of course, the reality is most airlines try to jam as many seats onto planes as possible to keep prices low and be competitive. Having a place with more room and a few amenities for families on planes would probably increase prices. Maybe this is something airlines should try out and see what happens.
