Now there's a Pumpkin Workout

     If you don't like pumpkin pie and you want to put your pumpkins to good use try getting "Pumpkined" up. Trainer Josey Greenwell has come up with 4 simple exercises that use a pumpkin to help you get a full body workout. The size is up to you. When your pumpkin collapses you can replace it with a medicine ball instead.

1. Pumpkin Push Up-Push off the gourd with both of your hands instead of the floor.

2. Jack O Lantern Swing- Use the pumpkin like a kettle ball.

3. Squash Squat- Do some squats while holding your pumpkin.

4. Pumpkin Seated Russian Twist- Your are seated and twisting from side to side while you hold your pumpkin. 

     One more thing. Greenwell suggests exercising with a fresh pumpkin istead of one that you have had for a while.  An older pumpkin could leave you covered in orange mush if you crush it by accident.
