This is good news to me. Even though our Christmas Tradition receive new twists from generation to generation two family traditions are still very popular.
According to a survey done by Elf on the Shelf decorating the Christmas Tree as a family is still our most popular activity during the holidays. The survey also showed 3 out of 4 parents still have their kids hand write letters to Santa. I guess Santa prefers letters to e mails.
Every year I put up our family Christmas Tree and decorate without my grown up kids. I know they enjoy having the tree there but they always tell me it's not necessary. One of our family traditions is taking a family picture in front of the tree every year with our pets. An event my family always looks forward to. Which tells me they understand why I do it.
