Well I didn't get to everything I wanted to do this weekend because I was dealing with a serious migraine headache Friday night which left me feeling exhausted most of Saturday. I Made it through the Christmas Party and won tickets to Jersey Boys. I've always wanted to go but never got the chance. Now I will be going. Our party at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel was beautiful. I only wish I could have enjoyed it more. The migraine headache really made it tough for me to stay until the end but I did. The only picture I made sure to take was one with my two best friends at work Shawn Stinnett and Steve Allan.
The reminder of my weekend was spent setting up my new all in one computer. It was an early Christmas present from all my kids. They were tired of seeing me on my old desk top which has been around since 2004. Now they're happy I'm a little more modern. Can you guess that it's hard for me to give up what I'm comfortable with.
On Sunday I went to church and celebrated the lighting of the first Advent candle. Advent is the four weeks before Christmas. A time for Christians to celebrate and remember the true meaning of Christmas. Then when I got home I made an awesome meatloaf. I'm looking forward to the left overs tonight.
